I did email them before I ordered to verify they came with some type of case, got an immediate response that a case is included. I’ll be interested to see how these perform. Good news — can fire up attached to gimbal with NO gimbal overload warnings. I will testing it a little later when the firmware is up to date. Noticed any colour cast or decrease in sharpness? I got a set of 4 PGY filters and it does not matter how hard I press them in place they still do not clear the gimbal when they initialise.

Apart from that I’m pretty impressed with them. With the светофильтр цпл dji pgy tech (пиджиай) installed, I noticed the yaw never hit maximum movement. Its been a busy xmas new years and I haven’t had the time to edit any footage. I’ve looked at a few footages and colour светофильтр цпл dji pgy tech (пиджиай) to be ok.
If you are deciding, have a squint at the TACO’s. Everyone on this forum praises them as they are lighter and are not reporting any initialisation issues. The need to install them after initializing the aircraft is a non starter for me. It is important to understand these differences as it is not that clear when you look between the products which can be left on and which have to be put on after initialization.
И еще немного о Светофильтр цпл dji pgy tech (пиджиай):
I have to return my pgy tech filters because they obstruct the gymbal at startup. Hopefully the replacements will work as advertised. Has anyone else had this issue with pgytech filters, is there variation in gymbal clearance in mavic production? Which series are most people going with? The MRC CPL does not appear to have a rotatable front lens but it does seem to rotate fairly easily on the gimbal itselt.
The filter was a little difficult to get on right. I thought I had it on at first but the gimbal wouldn’t initialize. After pushing quite a bit harder it slid on and everything works great. Have only used them a few times but so far they seem great. 24, so it looks like it is not a real Circular PL, just a PL, Hmmmmm will have to think more about this one. With a PL you need to look through it and rotate it before putting on the Mavic, then when the scene looks good put it on the Mavic, CPL’s do not work that way. Yep PGY’s CPL does not have a rotating glass element. I don’t think any filter for Mavic will be able to be real CPL, especially while passing the gimbal calibration.
Either way, CPL or PL the problem is still the same — you need to adjust the filter’s angle before take-off and are forced to leave it at that which makes it tricky to get right effect for the shot. We have received the information you submitted. Please forward this error screen to 185. PGYTech filters — I couldn’t get them to work prior to start up, they were catching the gimbal. I emailed PGY they replied, quite promptly, long story short if you give them a little turn once pushed on it seems to seat them a fraction more deeply — not even visible to the eye but enough to allow the gimbal to do its dance. I had no trouble with mine when fully pushing them onto the barrel of the camera. They cleared the gimbal at all angles. If not they will replace them apparently.
Happily mine now seem to work, so far. Do they make a big difference? Mine don’t clear regardless of what I do I’m also getting the runaround from PGYTech so I ended up just disputing the transaction on my credit card. I bought the Taco RC ones and they actually DO work. I hate to do that, but after over a week of «try this» then «try that» then «we’ll provide a refund» then «we’ll provide a replacement» and nothing ever coming of it, I just decided to let Amex give it a try. No matter what I tried I cannot get them to clear the gimbal on power up.
I’ll just stick with removing them each time. They are really good quality else. As I do not have My Mavic yet, the Filter question is 1. Are all equally applicable lighting dependent? With the filters installed, I noticed the yaw never hit maximum movement. Can you guys comment on how hard it is to push on , or remove the pgy filters? I have the tacos and I’m afraid im going to damage the gimbal pushing them on or taking off.
